LEAGUE and RESERVES COACHING POSITIONS

The Cockburn Lakes AFC is seeking EOI for new coaches for both Reserves and League sides. As the club moves into an exciting new period having recently being elevated to the Perth Football League B Grade Competition, we are seeking to appoint a talented and driven coach to lead the development of our senior team in the PFL competition. 

We are now seeking that special individual who can translate the vision from the committee into strong on field performance and positive results for the wide range of the club's internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate will demonstrate excellent coaching experience and knowledge of Australian Rules Football and with the assistance of the Committee and Football Manager, guide the club, associated coaches and staff to ensure a successful football program in 2025.

The successful candidate will:

• Actively recruit local and district talent
• Develop and maintain a club culture to the station of a successful club
• Set expectations amongst the playing group, and manage the expectations of the committee
• Plan and request resources as seen fit for success
• Assist in maintaining relationships with external stakeholders; Sponsors, PFL, City of Cockburn etc

Experience

• Coaching experience within a high performance environment
• High level of technical and strategic football knowledge
• Ability to plan, organise and manage time efficiently
• High level of initiative
• Flexibility and a willingness to adapt
• Ability to work under pressure
