2025 E Grade Season Preview Fri, April 4, 2025 - 8:30 AM

The E Grade competition enters 2025 with a fresh new look, as both E1 and E2 adopt the successful North and South conference model first introduced in E3 last season.

The shift comes off the back of positive feedback and is aimed at reducing travel while building stronger local rivalries across the division. With four competitive grades—E1 North, E1 South, E2 North and E2 South—the scene is set for another huge year of community football.

E1 North

Boasting two of last year’s premiers in Kingsway (E3N) and Wembley (E2), the E1 North competition promises to be fiercely contested from the first bounce. Both clubs will be looking to carry their 2024 form into the new season, but they'll face stiff competition from returning E1 sides and fresh opponents who know the challenge only gets tougher in 2025.

E1 South

Defending E1 champions Trinity Aquinas will fly the flag in E1 South alongside Forrestdale, who earned promotion after a dominant E3S campaign in 2024. With a proud history and strong club cultures, both sides will be among the early favourites, but with plenty of seasoned E1 competitors in the mix, nothing will come easy in this group.

E2 North

There’s fresh excitement in the North with the arrival of Warwick Greenwood, a new entrant to the Perth Football League for 2025. The Bulls will be eager to make their mark, but face a strong group of established clubs looking to push for a finals finish.

E2 South

A wide-open field shapes E2 South, with returning clubs out to prove they’re ready to take the next step. With travel demands reduced, expect tighter contests and stronger turnouts as players and supporters embrace the new format.

From premiers defending their crowns to new teams writing the first chapter of their story, E Grade footy continues to be the heart and soul of community football. Bring on the 2025 season.
