PFL Announces 2025 State Teams Ahead of VAFA Clash Mon, July 7, 2025 - 11:12 AM

The Perth Football League (PFL) has officially announced its 2025 State Men’s and Women’s representative teams, set to face off against the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) in a highly anticipated double-header on Saturday, July 12, in Melbourne.

Leading the Men's State Team is Jackson Harwood, renowned for guiding Kingsway to an A Grade premiership in 2024. Harwood brings a wealth of experience and a strong foundation in community football to the role. On the women's side, Steph Walding returns as Head Coach after a commendable performance in 2024, where the team narrowly missed victory by a single point. Walding's coaching credentials are notable, having led the East Fremantle WAFL Women’s side to a historic premiership in 2023.

The representative matches are scheduled during the A Grade bye weekend, allowing top talent from across the league to participate. The women's match will commence at 11:00AM AWST, followed by the men's game at 1:30 PM AWST. Both matches will be held in Victoria, providing an excellent opportunity for the PFL teams to showcase their skills on an interstate stage.

Both matches will be streamed and can be viewed here.
