Coolbellup Amateur Football Club, a proud member of the Perth Football League since 1975, is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic coaching staff across all teams to join our vibrant club for the upcoming 2024 season. It is envisaged that the Club will field teams in the following grades -

• C5 League Men
• C5 Reserves Men
• C1 Women

The Club has a rich tradition, is very family focused and is well established in the community with long-serving dedicated and hard-working volunteers and committee. We are seeking coaches that embrace a family culture with a passion for the game, commitment to player development, and strong leadership skills.

Successful applicants will play a key leadership role across the Club at training, game day and club events, including weekly selections and game day presentations. Coaches need to assist in player recruitment and retention, skills development, put in place a strong pre-season and in-season training plan, and implement a game plan and environment to give their team the best chance to succeed on field. Good relationship building skills and a strong level of football knowledge are also required. The Senior Club Coach (C5 League Men) will be expected to co-ordinate all coaching activities to lead and maintain a strong and unified culture.

All coaches will be required to have, or be working towards, the following experience and skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with the playing group, coaching group, support team, and club committee.
• Ability to engage with club members and sponsors.
• Minimum Level 1 Senior Coaching Accreditation.
• Possession of Working With Children card.

Existing coaches are encouraged to apply, but any new applicants will be considered fully.

Remuneration will be discussed with successful applicants based on prior coaching experience and performance.
