Curtin Uni Wesley break through 250K mark at Pink Tiger Day Fri, May 18, 2018 - 12:59 PM

Now in its eighth year the ‘Pink Tiger Day’ held annually by the Curtin University Wesley Football Club has now raised more than $270,000 for the McGrath Foundation.

This year Pink Tiger Day was held on Saturday 12th May raising $42,000 for the foundation supported by major sponsor Shakespeare Partners as well as a host of other sponsors and donors.

Over 250 guests filled ladies and men’s marquee’s which included food, drinks and entertainment as master of ceremonies Nat Locke from Nova FM kept the day flowing.

The Curtin University Wesley A Grade side also wore specially designed pink guernseys for their clash against Fremantle CBC.

Breast cancer survivor Nicole Gray shared her story as Tracy Bevan, founder of The McGrath Foundation was also present.

Pink Tiger Day continues to be the largest fundraiser for The McGrath Foundation by any community sports club, Australia wide.
