Osborne Park turns blue to support mental health Fri, May 25, 2018 - 2:30 PM

The Osborne Park Amateur Football Club will be swapping their usual red coloured guernsey for blue on Saturday 9 June to raise funds for mental health charity Beyond Blue.

Beyond Blue is a non-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related mental health disorders.

As a club, Osborne Park are making a conscious effort to raise awareness within their community to tackle these issues and the stigma that comes with them. The club is aiming to break down the ‘Man up and get over it’ culture that can be sometimes synonymous with football clubs and instead make it an inclusive environment where everyone feels safe to talk.

The club is encouraging everyone to come down to Robinson Reserve in their best blue outfit to help raise funds for Beyond Blue.

Reserves kick off at 12.30pm with the league to follow at 2.15pm. There will be a raffle, mini games and much more with all proceeds going to Beyond Blue.

For those who cannot attend, the club have set up a link if you wish to donate:
