This Saturday 5 September Grand Finals take place across three grounds for Women’s, E2, E3 and E4 grades.
In the Women’s A Grade, reigning premiers Curtin Uni Wesley come up against the 2019 B Grade Runners Up Warnbro Swans.
Warnbro Swans will want to go one better this season after finishing the 2019 B Grade season undefeated before losing the decider by 20 points. Curtin Uni Wesley on the other hand will be looking to go back to back as they defeated University by six points in a close finish to claim their first A Grade premiership last year.
Curtin Uni Wesley finished 2020 as minor premiers and are undefeated so far this season while Warnbro Swans finished the home and away season in 2nd spot with just the one loss.
The Tigers will go in with full confidence after defeating the Swans in both attempts this season, the first an eleven-point win in round one, before a thirteen-point win in the Semi Final to advance straight through to this weekend’s decider. University will miss the big dance for the first time in A Grade after Warnbro Swans fought off the 2018 premiers with a 12-point victory in the preliminary final last Saturday.
In the B Grade match, 2019 C Grade premiers Piara Waters face off with Quinns Districts. Quinns Districts had an unbeaten home and away season finishing as minor premiers while Piara Waters slowly gained confidence in their new grade rising up the ladder to finish in second spot. The record currently stands at one win a piece with Quinns Districts taking the win in round one and Piara Waters advancing into the grand final after a nine-point victory over the bulls in the Semi Final.
Kingsley and Kenwick go head to head in the C1 grade Grand Final with both sides playing finals for the first time in the Perth Football League competition. Swan Athletic and Willetton (C2) and Hills Rangers and West Coast (C3) will all be looking to claim the title as inaugural premiers of their respective grades.
Across at Richard Guelfi Reserve in Stirling the Men’s E2, E3 and E4 Grand Finals will take place with Wembley v Collegians (E2), Curtin Uni Wesley v Bassendean (E3) and Kalamunda v Gosnells (E4).
The Women’s A Grade match will be live streamed by Perth Footy LIVE! on the Perth Football League Facebook page from 3.00pm.
