Seven Grand Finals will be played across three venues in the 2022 Construction Training Fund Women’s League on Saturday 3 September.
Five out of nine of the new clubs to have joined the women’s league this season are set to feature in Grand Finals with Bassendean, Cockburn Cobras, Kelmscott, Noranda and Trinity Aquinas all having outstanding first seasons.
For the first time in three years, the A Grade competition will see a new premier crowned after Curtin Uni Wesley’s dominance over the past three seasons going back-to-back-to-back.
Warnbro Swans narrowly defeated University by five points last time the two sides met in the Qualifying Final and their Round 11 clash was decided by just four points in favour of University, so the stage is set for a nailbiter.
The A Grade decider at Gil Fraser Reserve will be streamed live and free on the Perth Football League Facebook page from 3:00pm.
With the Perth Football League’s women’s league becoming the largest senior community women’s competition in Australia in 2022, this year’s Grand Finals are set to showcase the rising standards of women’s football with the influx of talent and rapid increase in participation in recent seasons.
