McDonald's has generously handed out over $25,000 in grants to 16 Perth Football League Clubs as part of the Macca's Small Grants program which is in it's second year.
These grants will fund a range of club projects including upgrades to canteens and bar till systems, training equipment and new interchange benches.
"There was a strong focus of this year's program to fund point of sale equiptment as we have seen that clubs that have adopted this technology so far have really benefitted" said PFL Partnership Manager Joe Georgiades.
"We are really grateful to McDonald's who have made this program possible for the past two seasons and are supporting the great work our clubs do at a community level" he said.
Clubs who received a grant in this year's program include Baldivis, Bayswater, Canning Vale, Cockburn Cobras, Coolbelup, Gosnells, Kingsley, Kwinana, Maddington, Manning Rippers, Mosman Park, Mount Lawley, SNESA, Swan Valley, Trinity Aquinas and Yanchep.
Baldivis is a club who has recently come out of probation as a new side in the PFL and Club President Brian Emery was pleasantly surprised to be a grant recipient.
"Our club is relatively new in the PFL and we have just moved to a completely new facility - this grant will help us set up the Club's training facilities correctly, so I want to give a big shout out to the program sponsor McDonald's."
