The Perth Football League is delighted to announce a new broadcasting deal with Seven West Media online service Streamer.
Streamer will provide live streaming coverage for one weekly Match of the Round in the Toyota A Grade Competition throughout 2023, starting Saturday afternoon with reigning premiers Fremantle CBC taking on Scarborough.
A weekly feature game across all grades will also be streamed on the platform called Perth Footy Live. These broadcasts are set to feature all the big clashes around the grades and showcase clubs holding special rounds such as charity fundraisers and past players days.
The remaining four Toyota A Grade Men’s games will be filmed and uploaded to the Streamer platform for viewing every Saturday.
All 73 Perth Football League clubs will have access to stream their own games on the platform and will work with the team at Streamer to establish their own streaming programs.
Perth Football League CEO Andrew Dawe said it was exciting for the Perth Football League to team up with Seven West Media through Streamer.
“Showcasing the PFL on the Streamer platform will make our competition more accessible to supporters than ever before.”
“Over the past few years Streamer has built up a strong reputation in WA sport and the PFL is looking forward to giving our clubs this exposure,” Dawe said.
Streamer Operations Manager Nick Rynne said Streamer were overjoyed to add the PFL to their roster.
“Streamer was born out of a desire to elevate community sport and help reward clubs and leagues who want to take their competitions to a new level.”
“The connections between the Streamer team and the PFL runs right from A Grade through to the single-team competitions, so to be able to give every club a platform is something we are very much looking forward to,” Rynne said.
