State footy returns in 2024 with the PFL taking on the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) in a double header for our Senior Men’s and Women’s sides on Sunday 7 July at Steel Blue Oval.
The women will kick-off the action at 12:15PM AWST, followed by the men at 2:30PM AWST.
The PFL’s State Women’s side will also take on Country Football WA this Friday 14 June under lights at Gil Fraser Reserve from 6:30pm as an opportunity for the squad to showcase their skills and assimilate before they take on the VAFA.
All matches will be live streamed on Streamer.
2023 WAFLW premiership coach Steph Walding will be at the helm of the women's side alongside her assistants Stephen Markham, Carly Sutton and Tarryn Cuthbert.
A squad of 29 players including five emergencies has been selected for the women’s match against Country WA tomorrow which features 18 clubs across the Toyota Women's Grades.
The most prominently selected clubs include Melville with five players, Kingsley with three players and Baldivis, Curtin Uni Wesley, North Fremantle, University and Wembley all with two players.
