The Perth Football League is proud to announce a new partnership with For My Sisters, a Perth-based social enterprise dedicated to making period care more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable.

Through this collaboration, every PFL club with a women’s team will receive complimentary For My Sisters Period Care Kits. These curated kits are designed to provide immediate, respectful support to players who may unexpectedly need period products on game day or at training. Kits can be placed in changerooms, first aid kits, or other easily accessible areas within clubs.

Founder Megan Harrison shared the story that inspired the brand: “A few years ago, I was out for dinner with friends, and one told a story that gave me goosebumps. She was at a meeting, unexpectedly got her period, and opened the toilet cupboard to find a box of tampons with a post-it that simply said, ‘For my sisters.’

It was such a small act of kindness, but it had a huge impact. She said it felt like one of the best days of her life. And that struck me, access to a tampon shouldn’t be life-changing. It should be normal.”

From that moment, Megan set out to build a brand that delivers high-quality, organic, biodegradable period care, but more importantly, one that leads with empathy and purpose.

“There are already enough barriers for women in sport. Period care shouldn’t be one of them,” she said. “We’re so excited to work with the PFL to help break down those barriers and support women on and off the field. This is what inclusion in action looks like.”

In addition to the kits, PFL clubs will also receive an exclusive league-wide discount on For My Sisters products through to the end of the 2026 season.

PFL Director Danielle Santoro said the initiative is an important step in fostering inclusive and supportive environments for female athletes:

“Period care products should be as accessible as water bottles or tape at a football club. This partnership reflects the League’s commitment to the health, wellbeing, and inclusion of all participants. We’re proud to partner with Megan and the For My Sisters team to help normalise and prioritise this essential need across our competition.”

With 53 clubs now fielding women’s teams across the PFL, the partnership marks a meaningful investment in the growth and wellbeing of female footballers.
