After an unfortunate loss last week, Curtin Uni Wesley faces off against Ocean Ridge, who had a stellar win last week by 34 points. Who will take the win in Round 12?
Curtin came out strong, kicking the first 2 goals and 2 behinds to take early control. After a quiet patch, Ocean Ridge hit back with 2 quick goals, shifting momentum their way. However, Curtin responded late in the quarter with their 3^rd goal and another behind, finishing the quarter with a narrow lead.

Ocean Ridge came out determined to close the gap, kicking the first goal of the quarter. Curtin responded quickly with a goal of their own, but Ocean Ridge kept pressing, adding another goal before taking the lead with their 5^th goal. Curtin added a behind, matched soon after by Ocean Ridge. Curtin’s pressure paid off late, as they slotted a 5^th behind and followed it up with a crucial goal to regain their lead. They ended the close quarter with another behind.

Round 12 in C2 saw Forrestdale fight it out against Quinns District in a NAIDOC celebration match, both teams debuted their NAIDOC quernseys for a very special match.
Forrestdale started strong, opening with 3 behinds in the first 5 minutes before slotting the 1^st goal of the game. They kept the pressure on with 2 more goals, gaining an early lead. Ocean Ridge responded with a behind and followed it up with their 1^st goal. Forrestdale answered quickly with another goal, but Ocean Ridge stayed in the fight, kicking their 2^nd goal in the final minute to close out a high-scoring and fast-paced 1^st quarter.

Quinns District carried their momentum from the end of the 1^st quarter, opening the 2^nd with a behind. Forrestdale responded, kicking 2 quick goals to regain control. Quinns added another behind, but Forrestdale kept firing, slotting their 7^th goal to push further ahead. A free kick secured Forrestdale their 4^th behind, followed by 2 more to extend their lead. Quinns District managed another behind, but Forrestdale finished the quarter with an impressive goal right on the siren, heading into halftime with a solid lead.

Quinns District struck first in the 3^rd quarter with a goal from a free kick. After a long stalemate, they broke through with another goal, showing their determination. Forrestdale regained their rhythm mid-quarter, responding with a goal of their own. A free kick then secured their 7^th behind, helping them maintain control. Heading into the final quarter, Forrestdale leads by 26 points, holding a solid advantage.

Forrestdale remains at the top of the ladder following the match, and Quinns District sits just below in 2^nd. If both teams keep up their consistent determination, we could already be looking at our top 2 teams of the season.
