Men’s A Grade

The Men’s A Grade saw Fremantle C.B.C battle it out against Ocean Ridge, with the finals only a couple rounds away, the fight is on.

Women’s A Grade

Round 15 in the Women’s A Grade sees the front-runners at University battle it out against Melville.
Wet and muddy conditions made for a tough start, as both Melville and University struggled to find footing and rhythm early in the game. With momentum hard to come by, it wasn’t until the final 5 minutes of the 1st quarter that University broke through, slotting 2 back-to-back goals to gain the upper hand.

Melville responded well in the 2nd quarter, opening with a goal to get on the scoreboard, followed by the 1st behind of the match. Despite the improved effort, University maintained a narrow lead, heading into halftime up by 5 points
Melville started the 2nd half with intent, opening the 3rd quarter with 2 quick behinds. After a scrappy contest through the middle of the term, University managed their 1st behind of the half but couldn’t build on it.

Melville struck early in the final quarter with a crucial goal to take the lead, followed by another behind. As heavy rain set in, conditions worsened, making it tough for both sides to build momentum. Women’s B Grade

In the women’s B Grade, Hamersley Carine faced off against Swan Athletic in round 15.

Swan found some late-quarter spark with a goal in the final minutes, but Carine finished the half with a behind and took a 24-point lead into the main break.
The 3rd quarter proved challenging for both sides, with momentum hard to come by in slippery conditions. Carine managed to add 2 behinds, while Swan Athletic couldn't convert any scoring opportunities.

Carine remained in control in the final quarter, opening with a quick goal to extend their lead. They followed it up with 2 consecutive behinds, maintaining pressure as Swan Athletic continued to struggle to find form. A final behind from Carine sealed the match, as they claimed a comfortable 35-point victory.
