You’ve seen them take to the field across eighteen rounds this season, now it’s time to watch them do it once more in the 2025 Budget Car and Truck Rental Men’s B-E Grand Final Weekend!

Forty-two teams will play across seven venues in twenty-one epic grand final matches in what will be a Saturday to remember. We reached out to all the clubs to find out who they think you should keep an eye on in every match this weekend, and here’s what they had to say about their Men’s B, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, E1 North and E1 South teams!

Men’s B Division: Mount Lawley vs Baldivis

HIF Health Insurance Oval (Joondalup), 2:30PM, $20 Entry

Sasha Kurnutt, Stuart Guest, Nic Farmer and Campbell Abbott have been named as players to watch from Mount Lawley. Kurnutt, a previous premiership player is a “silky player who will have familiarity of the ground,” said Mount Lawley Coach Craig Hayden. “Guest has a bright future… is tenacious and does not take a backward step. Farmer has come on this year, is a vital cog to the well-oiled midfield… and influential in transition. Abbott is one of our smartest footballers… he is an integral part to the back 7 with his communication and experience.”

From the Baldivis bench, Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Collard, Eddy Dann, and Tyson Powell, are three players to keep your eyes peeled for on Saturday.

“As Baldivis’ captain and central midfielder, Collard consistently finds plenty of the footy and sets the tone for the team’s engine room,” said a representative from Baldivis. “[He] will be crucial in controlling the midfield, inspiring teammates, and connecting defence to attack through his ball-winning ability.”

“Operating from the half-back line, Dann excels at rebounding the ball from defence to drive Baldivis forward. His composure and delivery from the back are key attributes. Powell brings strength in the air and a penetrating long kick, both powerful weapons in the forward half.”

 

Men’s C1: Kalamunda vs Melville

Steel Blue Oval (Bassendean), 2:30PM, $15 Entry

From Melville, Cory Olczyk, a medium forward crafty around the goals and a leading goal kicker in the division, Alexander Stewart, a Fairest and Best winner a dominating ruckman, and team Captain Kennedy Sorrell who is strong and brilliant, are three players to watch.

Kalamunda Skipper and 2025 Perth Football League C1 Fairest and Best winner Trent Pottinger, athletic ruckman Cormac White who is known for his elite tap work, and danger in the forward and Perth Football League Colts representative Ashton McGowan have all been named by Kalamunda Districts Football Club President Brenton Lucas as players to watch.

 

Men’s C2: Forrestdale vs Quinns District

Revo Fitness Stadium (Claremont), 2:30PM, $15 Entry

From Forrestdale, players Preston Roach, Cheyenne Little and Captain Jayden Little have been named as three to watch.

“Preston’s performances in big games have been very good,” Forrestdale Football Club President Marika Glover had to say. “An elusive productive forward, Preston has been building up nicely… and is primed for another big grand final display.”

Captain Jayden Little has “lead from the front [and] again, like most of the team, is primed for the big games” while Cheyenne, a new recruit this season, has excelled all year and will bring everything to the field this Saturday.

From the Quinns District bench, James King, Jack Deighton and Michael Robertson are three players to keep an eye out for on Saturday.

“King is a 245-game veteran of the club and a three-time premiership player,” Quinns District Amateur Football Club President Ian Lee had to say, “a defender who takes big marks… hitting his target with effectiveness and accuracy.”

Robertson, a 239-game legend, is described as a “defender who will make it tough for any forward” whilst Deighton, a 217-game veteran and two-time premiership plater, is a “tough player that will take care of any forward as he locks down, stopping them from getting their hands on the footy.”

 

Men’s C3: Canning South Perth vs Cottesloe

Richard Guelfi Reserve (Balcatta), 3:15PM, $15 Entry

From the Canning South Perth bench, Captain Dylan Holt, Flynn Haliday, and Nathan Crudeli are expected to dominate on the field.

“Holt has been the driving force in the midfield all season, working tirelessly to transition the ball from defence to attack,” Canning South Perth Football Club President Brett Niblett had to say. “Haliday, our number one ruckman, plays with relentless determination. He regularly faces bigger, more experienced opponents, yet never gives in. Crudeli is the most versatile player on our list, capable of performing across every line and running all day.”

Timothy Watkins is a big name for the club as is someone to watch this weekend from the Cottesloe side.

“Watkins won the league’s Best and Fairest last night,” Cottesloe Amateur Football Club President Jack-Henry Bresa said, describing him as a key forward with a great moustache. Brad McGowan, a roaming halfback who “can take a good specky” and Reilly Gigney, a “goal kicking ruckman who can play anywhere on the ground” have also been named as players to watch out for from Cottesloe.

 

Men’s C4: Kelmscott vs Stirling

Burrendah Reserve (Willetton), 2:30PM, $15 Entry

From the Kelmscott side, young mid-fielder and 2025 Men’s C4 runner up Fairest and Best Aiden Sheppard, 2025 Brett Jones Colts Fairest and Best winner Noah Soper, and the team’s leading goal kicker Angus Yarran, are three players name to watch by Kelmscott Bulldogs Football Club President Robert Turner.

From Stirling, Jayden Cappeau, Harrison Tyler and Jake Atkinson have been named as three players to watch.

“A standout recruit for the Saints this season, Cappeau has made an immediate impact on the wing,” said Stirling Amateur Football Club Secretary Paul Giamov. “His debut season has been nothing short of exceptional.

“Tyler’s leadership and consistency have been instrumental in driving the club to another finals campaign. His composure, elite ball use, and relentless work rate have anchored the Saints’ midfield for years. The Saints’ spearhead in attack, Atkinson has enjoyed a prolific season… his ability to find space, read the play, and convert under pressure has made him a constant threat inside 50.”

 

Men’s C5: Coolbellup vs Lynwood Ferndale

Gosnells Oval (Gosnells), 2:30PM, $15 Entry

From Coolbellup, Captain Rhys Logan, Tyson and Troy Kelly, Curtis Hansen, Jordan Walley, and Eugene Hart have all been named as players to watch.

“Our Captain plays against his old team on Saturday,” Coolbellup Amateur Football Club President Adrian Pinkerton had to say. “The Kelly brothers both play midfield and are brothers to Tim Kelly from the West Coast Eagles. Curtis Hansen kicked 79 goals in the regular season. Jordan Walley & Eugene Hart are ones to watch for the Best on Ground on the day.”

From the Lynwood Ferndale bench, Brendan Poepjes, Tynam McNamara, and Skipper Connor Brown are three players to keep your eyes on this Saturday.

Brendan has enjoyed a great season in which he celebrated 350 games for LFFC,” explained Lynwood Ferndale Football Club President Chris Poepjes. “Brendan will always put his hand up to take the challenging roles on the opposition’s best forwards.

Tynam’s ability to find space and teammates during the season will be crucial as he finds another gear for a big game. Connor has been one of three players that has played all season for the league side and wants to see his teammates and club be successful.”

 

E1 North Men: Ocean Ridge vs Wembley

Gil Fraser Reseve (North Fremantle), 1:00PM, $15 Entry

Out of Ocean Ridge, Sean Gilbody, Ashton Hunt, Daniel Fryer, Ben Smith and David Rees have all been named as players to watch.

“Sean recently won the team’s Best & Fairest Award for season 2025,” said Ocean Ridge Coach Benjamin Smith. “A rock in defence he is rarely beaten in one on ones and possess exceptional decision-making skills with ball in hand. Hunt is a dangerous small forward who impacts through the midfield.”

Fryer is a “pillar of strength with exceptional ruck craft that consistently sets up his midfielders” whilst Smith “also recently won the team’s Best & Fairest Award for season 2025 tying with Sean Gilbody… often takes a heavy tag at stoppage and is a driving force through the midfield with his cleanliness, skills and decision making.”

Rees has a strong body in the contest and has a good ability to swing forward and score.

From the Wembley bench, Alexander Zulberti, Mitchell ‘Dish’ Osborn, and Thomas ‘Meadey’ Meade have been named by Wembley Football Club President Dan Volaric.

“The player-coach [Zulberti] has kicked 52 goals in 18 games so far this season and uses his strength to win contests,” Volaric explained. “Last year’s premiership winning player-coach, [Osborn] offers leadership, gut running, long leads out of the forward line and the ability to do the tough defensive run-with roles to apply pressure inside the forward 50. Meadey is a strong leader, espousing authority and the ability to direct his teammates into the right positions, like a chess game.”

 

E1 South Men: Trinity Aquinas vs Maddington

Gil Fraser Reseve (North Fremantle), 3:15PM, $15 Entry

From Trinity Aquinas, Toby De Lacy, Jason Mileti, and Josh Pirie have been named as three players to watch.

“The grand final will be Toby 'Trash' De Lacy’s 200th club game and he has been cleaning up across half back for Trinity Aquinas throughout the years,” explained Trinity Aquinas Coach Joel Janissen. “Toby is loved and respected by all teammates for the way he plays his football whether it's taking intercept marks for fun or doing the team things.

“Jason is not only the club games record holder but also calls himself "Mr September" this time of year as he's played in many grand finals. Josh has the self-proclaimed best kick at the club coming from a strong footballing family with brother Kieran & father John playing for East Fremantle.”

From Maddington, Mark ‘Thommor’ Thomas, Nick ‘Kotty’ Kot and Jake ‘Mortz’ Moreton have been named by Maddington Football Club President Scott Beal as three to watch.

“All three blokes are hungrier than ever to take home that flag come Saturday arvo,” said Beal. “With this year being the third grand final made from the past four years played, there is a look in these boys’ eyes that there is no other option than winning this year.”

Thomas placed third in the division’s Fairest and Best vote count this year, and both Kot and Moreton, Vice-Captains for the team, show great leadership on the field.
