It was Mount Lawley up against Baldivis in the 2025 B Grade Grand Final.

Their persistence was rewarded when they slotted their 4th goal to level the game, before adding another moments later to take the lead. After dominating the first half, Baldivis couldn’t regain their spark, going scoreless in the last quarter as Mount Lawley powered on to claim a remarkable come-from-behind victory, becoming the B Grade Premiers for 2025.

This past weekend also saw the Grand Final for the C1 Men’s take place, with Melville going up against Kalamunda.
Melville started the game strong, opening with the 1st goal of the match. Kalamunda responded quickly with a behind, but Melville kept the momentum, adding another goal before slotting 2 back-to-back behinds. Kalamunda then hit the scoreboard with their 1st goal, yet it was Melville who finished the quarter on top, closing out with 2 more behinds to take the early advantage.
Kalamunda opened the second quarter with an early behind, but Melville quickly regained control, adding a behind of their own before piling on 3 more in succession to keep the scoreboard ticking. Kalamunda refused to be shaken, however, striking back with 2 back-to-back goals to swing the momentum their way. They capped off a strong finish to the half with another behind, narrowing the margin to just 4 points. At halftime, Melville held the lead 25–21 in what was shaping up to be a tight match.
Kalamunda opened the third quarter with a goal to edge closer, but Melville quickly took back control. Registering 2 consecutive behinds before slotting their 4th goal of the match. After a brief lull where both sides locked down defensively, Melville broke through again, adding 2 more behinds and another goal. They closed out a dominant quarter with yet another behind to carry strong momentum into the final quarter.
Melville continued to press forward in the last quarter, opening with their 6th goal. Kalamunda fought hard, replying with 2 behinds in quick succession, but Melville answered back with their 7th goal and a behind to seal the result. Kalamunda added a final behind late, but it was Melville who finished on top, securing a well-earned 25-point victory and earning themselves the title of the C1’s premiership for 2025.

Preliminary Final
Alongside the Grand Final matches that were held over the weekend, the Men’s A Grade held their preliminary finals to see who would make it to next week's Grand Finals: North Beach or Kingsway.
After a slow start to the match, North Beach were first on the board with a goal, quickly backing it up with 2 behinds in under 90 seconds to show their intent. They soon added a 2nd goal to take early control. Kingsway responded with their 1st point, a behind, but the quarter closed out scoreless over the final 8 minutes, leaving North Beach on top at the first break.
North Beach once again struck 1st in the second term, opening with a goal before extending their lead with a behind. Kingsway matched with a behind of their own, and for the next 10 minutes, both sides were locked in a tight battle with no scoring. The match came alive in the final 5 minutes of the first half, with North Beach slotting their 4th goal before Kingsway hit back strongly with 2 back-to-back goals. Despite the late surge, North Beach held firm to carry a 13-point lead into halftime.
The third quarter opened at a slow pace, with North Beach breaking through first with a goal. 7 minutes later, they added another goal to stretch their lead, before following up with a behind. Kingsway responded with a behind of their own and finished the quarter strongly with a goal to stay in the contest.
The final quarter began much like the third, with scoring hard to come by. North Beach struck first with their 7th goal, but Kingsway soon took control as they pushed hard to close the gap. They added their 4th goal, followed quickly by a behind, to show their determination. However, after another 7 scoreless minutes, Kingsway could only manage another 3 consecutive behinds to close out the game. It wasn’t enough to overturn the margin, as North Beach held firm to claim a 15-point victory and earn themselves a place in the 2025 A Grade Grand Final, going up against Curtin Uni Wesley for the Premiership title.
