Beyond the Boundary 2026 Club Conference Fri, March 27, 2026 - 9:41 AM

The Perth Football League’s Beyond the Boundary Club Conference returned in 2026, continuing to build its place as a key pre-season event for clubs across the competition.

Held ahead of the upcoming season, the conference brought together club leaders, coaches, trainers and volunteers for a morning of learning, collaboration and connection. With strong attendance across all streams, the day reinforced the League’s commitment to supporting clubs both on and off the field.

Building on a successful inaugural year, the 2026 conference delivered a well-rounded program of practical sessions, designed to equip clubs with the tools, knowledge and confidence to head into the season prepared.

Session Highlights

Technology and Innovation
Representatives from Hudl delivered an engaging and informative session on the League’s camera technology, guiding attendees through how to effectively utilise the system and maximise its value at club level. The cameras are designed to enhance match review processes, support more accurate umpiring decisions and provide detailed performance insights to help elevate team outcomes.

Integrity and Governance

Leadership and Club Culture
The conference concluded with a keynote address from Subiaco Football Club CEO, Kellie Properjohn. Drawing on her experience across both Government and private sectors, Kellie shared valuable insights into leadership, culture and the evolving landscape of community football.

Other Key Topics

A number of additional sessions were delivered across the day, ensuring each club role was supported with relevant and practical learning opportunities.

Trainers took part in a hands on strapping workshop delivered by Victor Sports, alongside a concussion management session led by APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, Phoebe Freeman, providing important updates on protocols and best practice.
