With the 2026 season fast approaching, here’s what to expect across the Perth Football League’s C Grades in both men’s and women’s competitions, as well as the women’s B grade.

Budget Car & Truck Rental Men’s C Grades

In C1, reigning premiers Melville move up to B with Kalamunda after both sides put on a commanding 2025 season, opening the door for a new contender to emerge in C1. Coming up from C2 is minor premiers Forrestdale, and their Grand final Opponent and eventual C2 premiers Quinns District. Cockburn Cobras also had an impressive season with a strong top-three finish, earning them promotion from C2 as well. With Wembley and Wanneroo moving down from B Grade, established sides like
Hamersley Carine and Kwinana remain key benchmarks. In what will be a fiercely contested year for the top spot in C1.

The Budget Car & Truck Rental Men’s C2 competition sees a reshuffle, with Canning South Perth leading the promoted sides after securing the C3 premiership in a tight Grand Final victory over Cottesloe, who will also move up alongside second-placed Swan Valley. Meanwhile, C1 relegated sides Ballajura, Bassendean and Gosnells will be looking to respond immediately.

For the 2026 Budget Car & Truck Rental C3 Men’s season, Kenwick headlines the new additions after a remarkable C4 season, finishing 17–1 with a percentage above 480% in one of the most dominant campaigns across the PFL. C4 Grand finalists Kelmscott and premiers Stirling also join the grade. They are joined by Carlisle and Ellenbrook, who come down from C2, adding further depth to the competition. With the next best remaining sides from C3 Coolibina, Warnbro, and East Fremantle in such a close battle throughout last season, the new additions make it difficult to guess who will be the running favourites.

The Budget Car & Truck Rental C4 Men’s competition is bolstered by a group of high-performing teams from C5, led by Coolbellup, who claimed the premiership and finished with a percentage above 300%, losing just once all season. The C5 Grand finalists Lynwood Ferndale, along with strong performers High Wycombe, SNESA and Yanchep, are also moving up. They enter a competition that retains established clubs, Curtin Uni Wesley, Manning, Mt Lawley and Noranda, setting up one of the most evenly balanced leagues this season.

The Men’s C5 2026 season sees significant turnover from 2025, with five of last season’s top sides earning promotion after standout campaigns. Their departure opens the door for a reshaped competition, with Kingsley fielding an additional team from their C2 side, while North Mandurah and Safety Bay enter as new additions. A core group including Baldivis, Bayswater, Rossmoyne and Swan Athletic remains, forming the foundation of a refreshed and evenly balanced competition.

Budget Car & Truck Rental Women’s B & C Grades

Few divisions have undergone as much change as the Budget Car & Truck Rental B Grade Women’s competition, with a near-complete reshuffle redefining the landscape. The 2025 premiers, Trinity Aquinas, move up to A Grade after an outstanding undefeated season, while runners-up Hamersley Carine also earn promotion following a strong 12–2 campaign in B. Their departure opens the door for an exciting competition, with C1 minor premiers Kwinana and premiership winners Kelmscott entering after dominant seasons. Relegated A Grade sides Warnbro and Bullcreek Leeming join the mix, bringing experience at a higher level. The result is a far more open competition, with several genuine contenders emerging.

The Budget Car & Truck Rental C1 Women’s competition sees the inclusion of two sides in red-hot form, with Ballajura and Swan Valley arriving from C2. Ballajura produced one of the most dominant seasons across the women’s grades, going undefeated before falling just short in the Grand Final to Swan Valley, who claimed the premiership. Kingsway also joins from C3 after an impressive season, losing just once prior to the Grand Final. Bayswater, coming off a historically dominant C3 premiership season, will field sides across multiple grades in 2026, reflecting the club’s quality women’s program. Joining from B Grade are Collegians, Swan Athletic and Canning South Perth, while Kenwick drops to C2 after a challenging season. With a mix of elite performers and rebuilding sides, C1 shapes as one of the most unpredictable competitions.

The Women’s Budget Car & Truck Rental C2 Grade is wide open following the departure of the dominant Ballajura and Swan Valley to C1. The big storyline coming out of the competition is the introduction of the merged Mosman Park/Cottesloe side, which will add a new dimension to the season. New additions from C3 Hills Rangers and Mt Lawley are set to strengthen the division, while returning sides such as Willetton, Whitford and Wanneroo will look to capitalise on the reshuffle after showing promising form in 2025. Canning Vale and Fremantle CBC, both coming off strong 2025 seasons, appear well placed to contend once again in C2. With a mix of established and emerging clubs, C2 looms as one of the most open competitions.

The Budget Car & Truck Rental C3 Women’s competition features a major reshuffle driven by promotions, clubs restructuring and new entries. Carlisle enters as the only relegated side and will look to rebound strongly. Hamersley Carine’s wont play in C3 instead choosing to field a single side at the A Grade level, Quinns District will also just play their A-grade side after a difficult season in C3. Scarborough and Bullcreek Leeming introduce additional depth to their women’s program with new sides in C3, while Safety Bay enters the women’s competition for the first time. Coming up from C4 are the premiers Manning and Minor Premiers Ellenbrook, alongside Kingsley. The blend of emerging programs and established clubs sets up a highly competitive division.

The Budget Car & Truck Rental C4 Women’s competition reflects both growth and transition, with several new and developing sides entering the league. With Manning, Ellenbrook and Kingsley moving up, opportunities open for clubs to have a run at winning the flag. Coolbinia drops down from C3, while Bayswater will field a side in C4 following their dominant 2025 season in C3, highlighting the club’s expanding program. Fremantle CBC also strengthens its senior women’s pathway with an additional side in C4 to their successful C2 side. East Fremantle, Lynwood Ferndale and Jandakot will all field senior women’s teams for the first time, marking a significant boost for both the clubs and the competition. Returning sides, including North Mandurah, Swan Valley, Noranda and Secret Harbour, provide continuity in what shapes as a developing and competitive division.
