Fremantle CBC's player development system was on full show in their 40-point win over Kingsway, 93–53, with the last three Colts captains pulling on the green and gold alongside the current Colts captain Zak Spark in his league debut. Spark got on the scoreboard alongside fellow Colts league debutant Sam Shales, in a result that underlines the depth CBC continue to build through their pathways. Fremantle CBC's kicking efficiency at 61% compared to Kingsway's 48% told the story, with CBC converting 11 goals directly from turnovers. Kingsway had the edge in inside 50s throughout but struggled to convert, kicking 6 behinds to 1 goal in the third quarter before CBC closed them out in the fourth. Tom Wright was decisive with 14 contested possessions and 9 clearances with his CBC teammate Jake Austin on fire in the forward line, 5 goals. Kingsway’s Tyler Senge continues to impress in another best on ground performance with 23 disposals, 5 inside 50s and 10 intercept possessions.

Ocean Ridge put on a commanding display against Baldivis, winning 112–35 as their possession-based game clicked into gear. With 81% disposal efficiency and 50 inside 50s to Baldivis's 29, they converted 13 goals directly from turnovers. Brodie Matthew Gray drove the midfield with 35 disposals and 10 clearances, but best on ground went to Tyron Hindmarsh — 23 disposals, 12 marks and 5 goals. The result was made even better for Ocean Ridge with Noah Clune playing his 100th game for the club, putting up a commendable performance as a vital link in transition.

Trinity Aquinas made a statement with a demolition of Scarborough, 127–45, their most comprehensive win of the season. The clearance battle was the foundation, with Trinity Aquinas winning 33–21, dominating centre clearances 17–6 and generating 52 hitouts to Scarborough's 19. Keeshawn Cook was outstanding with 29 disposals, 9 clearances and 11 score involvements, while their forward line duo of Ryan Vermeersch and Xavier Stone was a headache for Scarborough’s backline all afternoon, with Stone kicking 5 goals and Vermeersch 6 goals. A strong third quarter saw Scarborough outscore Trinity Aquinas briefly, but the margin was already beyond reach — and Trinity Aquinas quickly reapplied the pressure, working the ball through the midfield with patient, short kicks to create clear looks at goal.

North Beach pulled off a massive win against Curtin Uni Wesley 72–56, in a result that showed North Beach just have a knack for finding that next level to win big games. North Beach's physicality at the contest was backed up by clean ball movement to runners in space. Although Curtin Uni Wesley’s pressure was constant, they couldn’t maintain their usual dominance at stoppages or marking contests, limiting the impact of their territory-based game style. Going into the final quarter, 5 points down, North Beach captain Justin Prior stepped up, scoring a crucial goal and following it up with an assist for Joey Deegan to kick the goal to seal a well-earned North Beach win. Kade Stewart’s 3 goals, 7 tackles were the heartbeat for Curtin Uni Wesley alongside a similar performance from Kyle Hamersley. For North Beach, Frank Anderson, 19 contested possessions, 4 goal involvements and 16 groundball gets were monumental in helping secure an important win for North Beach.

University edged Mt Lawley 79–67 in the tightest game of the round. Mt Lawley dominated the air with 90 marks to 63 and the ruck 55 hitouts to 10, but University's 18 forward 50 tackles and efficient conversion going forward proved decisive. The game's defining moment came in the final quarter when Will Parker, in his first year out of Colts, kicked four goals to secure the win for University. Jye Bolton led with 30 disposals, 6 inside 50s and 8 clearances. Spider Lockitt was Mt Lawley's best with 23 disposals, 7 marks and 7 tackles, while debutant Zaiden Ladyman impressed with 19 disposals and 5 goal involvements.

Round 7 shapes as a fascinating round across the competition. Kingsway travel to Trinity Aquinas for a Friday night clash, while University host Scarborough in a game they will be expected to control. Baldivis host Curtin Uni Wesley in a similarly one-sided contest on paper. North Beach's home record makes them favourites against Mt Lawley, who were competitive enough against University to suggest they can challenge. The standout fixture of the round is Fremantle CBC hosting Ocean Ridge — a collision of two sides with contrasting but complementary strengths. If Ocean Ridge's midfielders fire and create quality entries rather than quantity, it could be a back-and-forth contest — but CBC's efficiency with the ball in hand makes them clear favourites to extend their lead at the top.

The match of the round saw Trinity Aquinas overturn a three-point deficit in the last quarter to defeat Wembley by 11 points, 31–20, in a contest that lived up to every expectation. Wembley’s Phoebe Coulthard, Emily Capstick and promising youngster Rio Angus stepped up in the goals department, kicking a goal each in a game where Wembley rarely got a clean sight of goal. But Trinity Aquinas' experience in high-pressure moments won out — kicking 2 goals and three behinds to Wembley's one behind in the final term. Paige Bower has added another dimension since stepping in from Perth in the WAFLW, delivering an influential performance across the ground and slotting a crucial goal. Georgia Kelly chipped in with 2 goals to see Trinity Aquinas home.

North Fremantle had little trouble accounting for Baldivis, winning 65–10. North Fremantle generated 39 entries inside 50s to Baldivis's 14, overwhelming the brumbies at the contest to force mistakes, kicking 8 goals from turnovers alone. Jayde Musika was at the forefront of North Fremantle’s forward pressure game plan, working hard at the groundball with 28 disposals, 2 goals and 8 inside 50s. Pippa Sideris was another player amongst many crucial to the win with 3 goals, an assist and 21 disposals. For Baldivis, Kelsey Timms worked tirelessly with 31 disposals, 10 tackles and 8 clearances, but North Fremantle's pressure was relentless — laying 16 forward 50 tackles and restricting Baldivis to just one inside 50 mark for the entire match.

University had the better of North Beach in a 35-point win, 48–13, in a game University controlled across four quarters. University bested North Beach in nearly every area on the pitch, winning the loose balls, getting effective clearances and moving the ball intelligently at a pace that left North Beach chasing most of the game. Tarnica Stewart was outstanding with 33 disposals and 21 contested possessions, while Ashlee Hardisty marked her league debut with a goal after kicking 27 goals in five for the reserves. North Beach showed glimmers throughout but couldn't capitalise on repeated forward entries, with Jade Hall their brightest performer — 12 disposals and two inside 50 marks.

Quinns District proved too strong for Hamersley Carine, winning 45–9. Tia Bergin continued her extraordinary start to life at Quinns District, kicking 2 more goals to take her tally to 10 in just four games. Quinns District’s debutant Sophie Fisher also opened her account, a promising start for the young talent who also features for West Perth in the WAFLW. A difficult result to swallow for Hamersley Carine, who had beaten Quinns District three out of the three times they played last season, as the Hawks continue to work towards that consistent best they so readily tapped into last season.

The game of the round saw Curtin Uni Wesley escape with a four-point win over Melville, 36–32, in a match that had everything. Melville, sitting winless at the bottom of the ladder, came within a whisker of toppling the unbeaten ladder leaders. Both sides finished with 68 turnovers each and virtually identical disposal counts — with Leanne Gubbins leading Curtin Uni Wesley's efforts with 23 disposals and eight clearances. The game was made even more special by the massive milestone achieved by Sam Fiedler, who became the first female to reach 100 games for Curtin Uni Wesley.  The result was a genuine scare for the league leaders and a huge confidence boost for Melville ahead of a round 7 clash against North Beach that will now feel very winnable.

Budget Car and Truck Rental A grade women’s Round 7’s standout fixture in sees Curtin Uni Wesley host Wembley — their attacking brand and premiership experience presenting the most genuine threat yet to the unbeaten leaders. Trinity Aquinas host Quinns District, knowing a win, combined with a Wembley victory, could lift them to the top on percentage. Hamersley Carine hosts North Fremantle in what will be a tight contest between two sides with bucket loads of potential yet to be fully seen. The 2025 Grand Final rematch between University and Baldivis adds extra spice. Baldivis is desperate to rediscover last season's form after collecting just two wins from their opening six games.

Kalamunda pulled off a shock win over Brentwood Booragoon, scraping through 63–52 in one of the games of the round. There was little to separate the sides throughout, as Brentwood Booragoon held a slender lead at each break but couldn't find consistency in front of goal when it mattered most. Bullcreek Leeming showed plenty of fight against a formidable opponent, with Ned Brennan and Kane Fallows kicking 3 goals each, while Matthew Mondi capped a strong midfield performance by kicking his first goal in senior football.

Swan Athletic and Cockburn Lakes served up the most gripping contest of the round, just one point separating the sides at the last change. Cockburn Lakes struck early in the final term with two quick goals, and when Swan Athletic mounted a response but couldn’t get it between the big sticks, kicking 4 behinds before Cockburn Lakes closed off the contest with a goal minutes before the final siren, with the game finished 82–66 in Cockburn Lakes’s favour. Cameron Symonds was brilliant with six goals for Swan Athletic. Cockburn Lakes top goalscorer last season, Giacomo Millucci, marked his first game back this season with 3 goals. However, the story of the day belonged to Caleb Waller, who made his league debut for Cockburn Lakes. Commanding in the ruck and proving crucial in the final quarter with a series of big, contested marks.

North Fremantle rounded out the round with a 126-point demolition of Melville, 150–24. The highlight, however, came from 17-year-old Olivia Ferguson, who kicked her first goal for the club — a special moment for a player already making waves in the WAFLW Rogers Cup.

Swan Athletic made it five wins from six with a victory over Warnbro, 43–13. Swan Athletic’s Rosie Jeakings and Hayley Baker both chipped in with two goals each, while Warnbro's Tayla Baldwin gave supporters something to cheer about, kicking her first goal for the club.

Kwinana pushed hard in the second half, with Ethan Logan and Joshua Elphick combining for 5 goals to make Wanneroo sweat, but the Roos proved too strong. Jacob Dwyer continued his impressive form with 3 goals, while James Finchett marked his return with a goal in his first game of the season. Cockburn Cobras were too good for Jandakot, running out winners 86–44. Julian Hutlen was best on ground with 6 goals, while Jacob Conti played an important role setting up the attack, adding a goal of his own. Cockburn Cobras face a stern test in round 7 when they travel to Kwinana, who sit fourth and will be keen to bounce back after their narrow loss to Wanneroo.

Mosman Park held on for a nervy 5-point win over Quinns District 68–63, but will count themselves fortunate to have come away with the four points. Mosman Park entered the second half 33 points up before Quinns staged a remarkable revival, kicking 4 goals and to Mosman Park's 2 goals in the third quarter. Quinns inaccuracy in front of goals in the fourth quarter, kicking 2 goals and 8 behinds, was a huge let off for Mosman Park in a nearly disastrous second half fumble.
