Kingsway led from start to finish to defeat Ocean Ridge 12.3 (75) to 4.8 (32), with elite efficiency in front of goal proving the difference. While Ocean Ridge finished with 38 more disposals, 11 more clearances and 12 more inside 50s, their inability to capitalise on repeat entries proved costly. Kingsway's exceptional accuracy was the defining factor, converting 12.3 from their opportunities compared to Ocean Ridge's wasteful 4.8, while a commanding 51-23 hit-out advantage through Kody Eaton’s exceptional work, totalling 37 hitouts, allowed them to reset at stoppages when required. Braydn Furmark's three goals and six inside 50s, alongside Blake Morris' two majors, were built on the excellent work of Tahj Mibus, who recorded 21 disposals, seven marks and five goal involvements. Tyler Senge was outstanding with 28 disposals, seven rebound 50s and five tackles, while Lachlan Vanirsen collected 27 disposals, six rebound 50s and a goal. Kingsway's disciplined defensive structure was equally impressive, forcing repeated turnovers in their back half before transitioning the ball efficiently. Their ability to exit defensive 50 was reflected in a 20-rebound-50 advantage, allowing them to repeatedly turn Ocean Ridge's forward entries into attacking opportunities. Ocean Ridge's usual midfield pairing of Brodie Matthew Grey, who amassed 32 disposals, 11 clearances and seven tackles, and Liam Dellamarta, with 25 disposals and eight tackles, battled hard, but the side's inability to convert midfield dominance into scoreboard impact again proved an all-too-familiar Achilles heel.

Fremantle CBC showed great composure after an early scare from Mt Lawley to win 13.15 (93) to 6.2 (38). Despite Mt Lawley leading by 18 points at quarter-time after a blistering 5.0 opening term to CBC's 2.2, Fremantle CBC responded emphatically to control the remainder of the contest. Superior ball movement and possession saw CBC finish with 61 more disposals, 14 more marks and 15 more inside 50s as Mt Lawley struggled to contain a forward line that continues to set the benchmark for the competition. CBC's forwards consistently created separation with sharp leading patterns, which were repeatedly rewarded by precise ball use going inside 50. Matt Ward was dominant through the midfield with 32 disposals and 10 clearances, while Dillon O'Reilly proved unstoppable inside 50, kicking five goals from 14 disposals and taking eight marks inside 50. Luke Salomone continually found space to finish with 27 disposals, 13 inside 50s and six uncontested marks. For Mt Lawley, Nathan Eaton fought tirelessly with 22 disposals, eight rebound 50s and five tackles, while Lachlan Dique collected 21 disposals and eight rebound 50s. CBC's physicality around the contest, combined with their ability to transition the ball at speed and hit leading targets inside 50, continues to separate them from the competition and is a major reason they remain on top of the ladder.

Curtin Uni Wesley overcame a fierce defensive effort from Scarborough to claim a 30-point victory, 11.9 (75) to 6.9 (45), with their stoppage work proving the difference. The opening term was tightly contested, with Curtin holding a narrow two-point lead at quarter-time before taking control through their dominance around stoppages. A 55-34 hit-out advantage and 42-34 clearance win consistently gave Curtin first use, helping them generate eight more inside 50s despite Scarborough's relentless pressure, which included 64 tackles. Curtin's ability to dominate the clearance battle and lock the ball inside their forward 50 in the second half gradually wore the Scarborough down, allowing them to comfortably see out the contest. Jack Blechynden starred in the ruck with 45 hit-outs and six clearances, giving his midfield first use throughout the afternoon. Up forward, Kade Stewart backed up his best-on-ground performance for the PFL against Country WA with four goals from 17 disposals and four tackles, while Alexander Howson was equally damaging with four goals. Chris Leonard also had a major impact, collecting 20 disposals, five clearances and two goals. Scarborough's defensive resilience was outstanding, but they struggled to generate clean ball movement going forward. With just 31 inside 50s, Scarborough were unable to consistently turn their defensive efforts into scoring opportunities. Francis Toovey battled hard with 23 disposals and five uncontested marks, while Brady Foster added 24 disposals in a determined performance.

Trinity Aquinas made the most of their opportunities to defeat Baldivis 13.8 (86) to 10.5 (65) in a hard-fought contest. Despite Baldivis collecting 30 more disposals and earning 12 more free kicks, Trinity controlled the contest around stoppages, winning the clearances 40-33 and hit-outs 45-36, with Ethan Bakic providing the platform in the ruck with 28 hit-outs. Matthew Rodan led the way through the midfield with 22 disposals, 11 clearances and five tackles, while Keeshawn Cook added 20 disposals, seven inside 50s and a goal. Blake Borrett contributed two goals to go with 11 disposals and five clearances, while Ryan Vermeerch kicked three majors as Trinity capitalised on their opportunities in front of goal. Baldivis received strong performances from Andrew Haydon with 21 disposals, eight clearances and five tackles, Jack Mathey with 23 disposals and five clearances, Byron Finch with four goals and Benjamin Otto, who kicked two goals from 10 disposals while laying four tackles. Trinity's aerial dominance proved decisive, taking 14 contested marks to Baldivis' six while matching them with 34 inside 50s apiece. Their cleaner ball use and intercept marking repeatedly turned defence into attack, breaking down Baldivis' ball movement.

North Beach continued their strong form with an 11.6 (72) to 8.2 (50) over a youthful University side, whose depleted line-up was missing close to half of its regular best 23. The Tigers controlled the contest around stoppages and consistently won field position, finishing with 68 more disposals, 11 more inside 50s and 14 more marks. Their trademark handball chains and corridor ball movement proved difficult to contain, something the University struggled to replicate with their usual advantage of speed out of the contest being matched by North Beach. Zac Clarke earned the Jax Auto & Tyres Player of the Week with a dominant display of 21 disposals, 36 hit-outs, eight clearances and six marks, while Justin Prior was equally as influential kickstarting North Beach’s attacks, with 25 disposals, 10 clearances, five tackles and five inside 50s. Up forward, Tom Lang marked his return from injury with four goals alongside Stephen Mansfield, while Drew Rhode provided a strong rebound with 14 disposals and six rebound 50s. University showed promising signs through Cuba Cellier, who finished with two goals and four goal involvements, while Sullivan Moody added four goal involvements of his own on top of 18 disposals. William Wildberger was undoubtedly the spark for University, especially later in the game, but North Beach's physical defensive setup limited the visitors' ability to generate consistent forward entries, with costly free kicks and 50-metre penalties further halting their momentum.

Upcoming Round
Round 11 features several important clashes that could shape the top six, headlined by Trinity Aquinas hosting ladder leaders Fremantle CBC in a major test for the in-form sixth-placed side. Kingsway and Curtin Uni Wesley also meet in a top-five showdown, with both clubs coming off impressive wins and looking to strengthen their finals credentials. Elsewhere, North Beach will aim to keep pace with the ladder leaders against Scarborough, while University has the chance to consolidate its top-four position against Baldivis. The round is rounded out by Mt Lawley hosting Ocean Ridge, with both sides searching for a much-needed response after disappointing Round 10 defeats.

Trinity Aquinas produced a dominant four-quarter performance to defeat Baldivis 8.8 (56) to 1.3 (9), controlling the contest from stoppage to scoreboard in a 47-point win. Trinity finished with 101 more disposals, 21 more clearances, 28 more hit-outs and 26 more inside 50s, consistently moving the ball through clean handball chains and ground-level dominance. For Trinity Aquinas, Nadia Pisano led the midfield with 21 disposals, 10 clearances, six inside 50s, seven tackles and 10 groundball gets, while Montana Turnbull finished with 22 disposals, 17 contested possessions and 17 groundball gets. Ivy Harding contributed two goals from 20 disposals, while Gemma Dix added two goals from 21 disposals, and Jessica Schleicher finished with two goals and two goal assists. For Baldivis, Kelsey Timms worked hard with 16 kicks, seven clearances, six intercept possessions and five tackles, while Tayla Cooper kicked the only goal and applied five tackles, and Sara Sammons added 11 kicks, four clearances and five tackles under sustained pressure.

Curtin Uni Wesley defeated North Beach 5.9 (39) to 3.1 (19), using midfield control and forward pressure to wear the opposition down after a close opening term. Curtin finished with eight more clearances, seven more inside 50s and nine more hit-outs to advantage, repeatedly winning first use at stoppages and locking the ball inside attack. For Curtin Uni Wesley, Larissa Versaci kicked two goals from 16 kicks and seven groundball gets, while Sara Lewis added two goals and four tackles, and Amber Ugle-Hayward finished with 17 disposals, 11 contested possessions and six clearances. For North Beach, Sienna Joubert rucked strongly with 20 hit-outs and added five rebound 50s, while Abby Critchell provided an outlet forward with three inside 50s in a side that spent long periods under pressure.

Wembley held on to defeat University 2.1 (13) to 1.5 (11) in a defensive contest where every score proved decisive. University finished with 31 more disposals, 18 more contested possessions, 35 more groundballs and 11 more tackles, but were unable to convert territory into scoreboard impact. For Wembley, Paris Laurie dominated through the ruck and midfield with 23 disposals, 20 contested possessions, nine clearances, nine intercept possessions and 33 hit-outs, while Lucy Houghton added 22 disposals, seven clearances and nine intercept possessions. For University, Tarnica Stewart led the midfield with 22 disposals and 10 clearances from ball-ups alongside 13 pressure acts, while Elyssa Melville added 16 disposals, a goal and 12 pressure acts in a scrappy contest.

Melville defeated Hamersley Carine 6.2 (38) to 2.3 (15), setting up victory with a fast start and holding firm for the remainder of the contest. Melville led strongly after the first quarter and controlled field position thereafter, limiting Hamersley Carine’s scoring opportunities. For Melville, Emma McNess kicked three goals and a behind, while Charli Bidwell added a goal in support of a strong forward structure.

Upcoming Round

Round 11 in the women’s competition shapes as a crucial ladder-defining weekend, headlined by ladder leaders Curtin Uni Wesley hosting Baldivis, while second-placed Trinity Aquinas face Hamersley Carine looking to maintain pressure at the top. A key mid-table clash sees University take on Quinns District, with both sides sitting inside the top six and fighting to stay in finals contention. Elsewhere, Melville host North Fremantle in an important battle for momentum, while Wembley meet North Beach in a high-stakes clash between third and seventh that could reshape the top four race.

Whitford survived their biggest scare of the season, edging out West Coast 9.10 (64) to 8.10 (58). West Coast led for much of the afternoon and entered the final quarter with an eight-point advantage, looking set to hand Whitford their first defeat of the year. However, the ladder leaders stood tall when it mattered most, holding West Coast to just one behind in the final term while kicking 2.3 to snatch victory. It was the closest any side has come to defeating the unbeaten Whitford this season. Lawson Prendergast and Max Walters each finished with two goals in the comeback win. The victory extends Whitford's unbeaten start to the season, while West Coast can take plenty of confidence from pushing the competition's benchmark side to the brink.

Cockburn Lakes continued their strong form with a convincing 12.9 (81) to 6.5 (41) victory over Bullcreek Leeming, controlling the contest from start to finish. Cockburn Lake’s Joshua Grant and Lachlan Johnson each booted three goals, while Ka-lel Wilson Allen celebrated his first senior goal this season. For Bullcreek Leeming, Anthony Ellis also reached a milestone, kicking his first league goal on debut. The result keeps Cockburn Lakes firmly in the finals hunt, while Bullcreek Leeming will need a strong finish to the season to stay out of the drop.

Swan Athletic overcame an early challenge from Kalamunda to record a 9.10 (64) to 7.9 (51) victory. Kalamunda burst out of the blocks with a strong opening quarter, but Swan Athletic quickly wrestled back control and led comfortably for the remainder of the afternoon. Young gun Carlos Partington kicked two goals, while Cameron Symonds strengthened his hold on the league goalkicking lead with three majors. Tyler Mouritz battled hard for Kalamunda, finishing with two goals. The win keeps Swan Athletic's finals hopes alive, while Kalamunda remain searching for consistency as the season enters its second half.

North Fremantle breezed past a Collegian side struggling to adapt to the pressure of the league, keeping them goalless in a commanding 9.12 (66) to 0.5 (5) victory. Ethan Paholski led the way with three goals, while Dylan Main continued his strong run of form with two majors. Restricting Collegians to just five behinds underlined North Fremantle's defensive strength as they continue to build momentum heading towards the finals.

Brentwood Booragoon recorded a comfortable 13.16 (94) to 5.8 (38) victory over Melville, proving too strong across all four quarters. Parker Doncon starred with five goals to extend his streak of kicking at least one goal in every game this season, while Jacob Hall made an immediate impact with four goals in his first senior appearance of the year after earning a promotion from the Colts. The result keeps Brentwood Booragoon firmly in the finals mix, with their attacking depth continuing to be one of their biggest strengths.

Upcoming Round

Third-placed Brentwood Booragoon take on West Coast in another key fixture between sides inside the top six, while Cockburn Lakes host Kalamunda, looking to consolidate their finals positions. Elsewhere, Bullcreek Leeming faces Melville and Collegians meet Swan Athletic, with both matches important for sides aiming to either push into or hold their place in the finals race as the season nears its business end.

Bullcreek Leeming 8.5 (53) defeated Swan Athletic 5.5 (35) in a game of shifting momentum, with Bullcreek Leeming finishing strongest to secure the four points and remain inside the top four. Swan Athletic struggled to find fluency early and were held scoreless in the first half, trailing by 20 points at the main break despite lifting their intensity after half-time and reducing the margin to seven points in the third quarter through improved clearance work and pressure around the ball. However, Bullcreek Leeming were composed in key moments, responding to each challenge with timely goals, led by Jacinta Stevens’ five-goal haul, including a second-quarter burst of three majors in 11 minutes, before Juanita O’Neill and Jenelle Heard helped seal a strong final-term finish.

Kwinana delivered one of the most dominant performances of the round, overwhelming Warnbro 9.10 (64) to 1.2 (8) with sustained control across all areas of the ground. Kristie Lawson and Kate Reid both finished with three goals in a performance built on forward-half dominance and repeat inside 50 pressure that Warnbro were unable to withstand.

Rossmoyne continued their strong season form with an 8.12 (60) to 0.2 (2) win over Piara Waters, producing a disciplined four-quarter performance built on defensive structure and consistent territorial control that kept their opponents goalless in majors.

Ocean Ridge also impressed with an 8.6 (54) to 1.3 (9) victory over Kelmscott, with Taylor Evans kicking four goals, Emma Youd making an immediate impact with two goals on debut, and Nyajima Deng kicking her first goal for the club in a well-rounded attacking display.

Last-placed Jandakot produced the upset of the season, edging out Thornlie 11.2 (68) to 9.13 (67). Jandakot's astonishing 84.6% goal accuracy is the best performance in front of goal by any team this season, with Thomas Andrijich booting four goals and Matthew Armstrong adding three to extend his streak of kicking at least one goal in all 10 games this year. As expected, Thornlie's Cooper Shord featured prominently with three goals to keep himself firmly in the race for the league goalkicking title. However, Thornlie's worst day in front of goal this season proved costly, with the inaccurate display seeing them surrender third spot to Kwinana and slip to fourth on the ladder.

Wembley overcame a spirited second-half fightback from the Cockburn Cobras to record a 10.9 (69) to 6.5 (41) victory. The Cobras were slow to get going, managing just 2.1 across the opening half before mounting a resurgence after the main break to cut the margin back to two goals. However, Wembley remained composed, responding when it mattered to pull away and secure the four points. Josh Richards continued his outstanding season with four goals to further strengthen his claim for the league goalkicking title, while Nick Fijac added two majors in the win. For the Cobras, Julian Hulten battled hard to finish with two goals, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome as Wembley responded to last week's defeat to Wanneroo with an important victory to return to their top form.

In a crucial clash with significant finals implications, Kwinana held off Hamersley Carine 7.9 (51) to 4.14 (38). The victory sees the Knights climb into third place, while Hamersley Carine holds onto fifth, but any further slip-ups could prove costly, with the Cockburn Cobras sitting just one win behind and applying plenty of pressure in the race for finals. Joshua Elphick continued his outstanding season, booting three goals to take his league-leading tally to 45 for the year. Blake Lawton also celebrated his 100th game for the Knights in style, kicking a goal, while both unlikely contributions from Noah Kirkwood and captain Jack Kirkwood on the scoreboard put enough distance for the Knights to take the win. For Hamersley Carine, Ben Hince featured on the scoresheet for the first time this season with two goals. However, the visitors were left to rue their worst performance in front of goals with an accuracy of 22.2% as Kwinana capitalised on the key moments to strengthen their grip on a top-three position.

Wanneroo powered past Mosman Park with a commanding 17.14 (116) to 2.2 (14) victory, as nine different players hit the scoreboard in their third-biggest win of the season. The 102-point triumph is also the third-largest winning margin recorded by any side in C1 this year. Jacob Dwyer led the way with four goals, while Toré Nelson added three in another dominant attacking display. Defensively, Wanneroo were just as impressive, restricting Mosman Park to only two goals from Thomas Smith for the afternoon to strengthen their position at the top of the ladder.

Quinns District claimed an important victory over one of their closest ladder rivals, defeating Forrestdale 11.6 (72) to 7.9 (51). The Bulls were clinical in front of goal, converting at 64.7% compared to Forrestdale's 43.8%, making the most of their opportunities to secure just their second win of the season. Nicholas Campbell and Billy Couch each finished with two goals, while Michael "Robbo" Robbertson played an important role in driving his side to victory in his 250th game for Quinns District. A dominant third quarter proved the difference, with the Bulls piling on 4.3 while restricting Forrestdale to just 1.2 to put the game beyond doubt. The result not only gives Quinns District their second win of the year but also tightens the battle at the bottom of the ladder, with Quinns District, Mosman Park and Jandakot now all sitting on two wins, just one victory behind Forrestdale on three.

Upcoming Round

Round 12 in the C1 Men’s competition features a key clash between ladder leaders Wanneroo and seventh-placed Forrestdale, with Wanneroo likely to take the win and extend their unbeaten record. Second-placed Wembley face Jandakot, while third-placed Kwinana take on Thornlie in a top-four shaping contest with finals implications at both ends of the ladder. Elsewhere, Hamersley Carine meets Quinns District in an important battle for momentum, while Mosman Park hosts Cockburn Cobras, with both sides aiming to close the gap on the middle pack and finish the season strongly.
