University put away Baldivis in style, cruising to a 58-point victory, 16.9 (105) to 6.11 (47). The home side set the tone from the opening bounce through Jye Bolton and William Wildberger, establishing a rhythm Baldivis couldn't contain with slick handball chains through the midfield and precise entries inside 50. Baldivis mounted a determined response in the second quarter, with Tyson Powell kicking two goals to keep the margin to a manageable 16 points at half-time. University pushed the lead to 29 points in the third term through two goals to Charlie Carrington-Jones, then blew the game open in the fourth, adding 10 goals to their first-half haul of 6. Hugo Elliot was the difference after the break, finishing with 18 disposals, 7 goal involvements including 3 of his own, and 5 marks, while the home side's 40 inside-50s to 25 told the story of total territorial control. Sullivan Moody had a season-best 31 disposals, 10 inside 50s and 5 turnovers, while Bolton, on his first game back since round 8, was huge with 27 disposals at 89% efficiency. University's class showed a 78% disposal efficiency compared to Baldivis's 68%, leading the disposals count 309 to 232. Haydn Matthews, with 24 disposals and 10 groundball gets, and Kaed Collard, who racked up 21 disposals and four clearances, were among the best for Baldivis.
Kingsway's stoppage-driven formula that overran Ocean Ridge last week deserted them this time, with Curtin Uni Wesley grinding out a 19-point win, 6.16 (52) to 4.9 (33), in a game that stayed tight until the fourth quarter. The Tigers' 41 inside-50s to 36 reflected the territorial edge that eventually told, Curtin Uni Wesley pouncing on Kingsway errors to launch quick transitions, with Kade Stewart and Alexander Howson kicking the sealing goals. Tyler Senge was outstanding, racking up the round's highest disposal count at 39 to go with seven marks and six clearances, while Lachlan Vanirsen equalled his season-best with 34 disposals and 8 inside 50s. Despite Kingsway holding the edge in disposals and clearances, it was the same story of wasted opportunity that has plagued them in big games this season. Kade Stewart's 20 disposals, 8 inside 50s and 6 tackles were huge going forward, but the work rate of George Wessels, who finished with 26 disposals and 4 rebound 50s, and Carden Taylor, with 22 disposals and 4 midfield turnovers, made the difference for the Tigers, efficiency winning out over Kingsway's superiority almost everywhere else on the ground.
Fremantle CBC's status as competition benchmark faced a big challenge in Trinity Aquinas, who would not go down quietly, CBC eventually prevailing 18.4 (112) to 11.14 (80). Trinity Aquinas, fresh off their own win over Baldivis, won the contested ball battle 128-99 and laid 18 more tackles, but couldn't match CBC's efficiency in front of goal. Trinity led by 20 points at quarter-time, the sides were locked at 45 apiece by half-time, and Trinity still held a one-point lead heading into the final quarter before CBC produced a devastating seven-goal final term to blow the game apart. Tom Wright controlled the midfield with 10 clearances and 25 disposals, alongside Matt Ward's 24 disposals and 7 clearances, to keep feeding the attack. Dillon O'Reilly was the story of the match, booting 10.1 from just 11 disposals, while Jake Austin added 4.1 and Adam Osbourne provided 5 goal involvements. Lachlan Turley's defensive efforts — 12 rebound 50s, 18 disposals and 4 spoils — were vital in holding off the fightback. Blake Borrett's six goals were the highlight for Trinity Aquinas, with Matthew Rondan's 25 disposals, 8 tackles and 7 clearances among his best performances of the season. Although a tough loss, it wasn't without celebration, with Maxwell Fry playing his 150th game for the club.
North Beach's form continued after last week's win over a short-handed University, the Tigers piling on 14.16 (100) to Scarborough's 2.5 (17) in the round's biggest margin. North Beach blitzed the opening term to lead 35-1, and the margin never dropped below 37 points, extending to 59 by the final change before Joey Deegan sealed it with two late goals. The disposal count of 353 to 248 and an inside-50 differential of 41 to 27 underlined the gulf, with Jaidyn Owen filling in at ruck for an absent Zac Clarke to record 32 hit-outs, 17 disposals and 9 tackles. Drew Rohde put in his best game of the season with 30 disposals, 11 marks and 3 assists, while Tom Lang, in just his second match back from injury, kicked 5 goals from 16 touches. Forward partner Joey Deegan also starred with 4.0, a testament to North Beach's depth with top goalkicker Alexander Marklew absent. Scarborough's loss owed less to poor disposal efficiency, 71% to North Beach's 77%, than their inability to win the ball back, with North Beach dominating marks 108 to 72. Brady Forster was Scarborough's best with 21 disposals, 10 marks and 5 rebound 50s, while late addition and former Fremantle and Essendon player Travis Colyer impressed with 18 disposals.
Mt Lawley bounced back from their loss to Fremantle CBC to edge out Ocean Ridge 11.4 (70) to 9.5 (59), a massive win that lifts the Hawks out of the bottom two for now. The home side led 19-9 at quarter-time and stretched that to 28 points by half-time, before Ocean Ridge stormed back in the third term to close the gap to 12 points at the final change. Mt Lawley held firm late, with Mitchell Gupanis kicking the sealing goal for his fifth major of the game. Ruckman Jedd Edward, with 37 hit-outs, 7 clearances and 5 goal involvements, laid the foundation, shutting down Ocean Ridge's stoppage scoring — just 1.0 goal to Mt Lawley's 6.3 — with 88% of Ocean Ridge's scores instead coming from midfield turnovers. Ocean Ridge dominated forward-50 entries 24-34 without reward until the second half, when Tyron Hindmarsh, with 29 disposals, 10 marks and 7 clearances, and Brodie Matthew Gray, with 29 disposals and 12 clearances, lifted. Mt Lawley's Cameron Glass was near-perfect with 16 disposals at 93% efficiency and a goal, while teammate Nathan Eaton took 17 marks from 23 disposals.

Round 12 is headlined by a top-four blockbuster as ladder leaders Fremantle CBC host fourth-placed University, with major finals implications. Second-placed North Beach hosts fifth-placed Kingsway, while Curtin Uni Wesley travels to Ocean Ridge to defend its top-three spot. North Fremantle earned a hard-fought win, overcoming Melville 5.3 (33) to 2.8 (20). The ladder suggested a comfortable win, but Melville made it anything but, winning clearances 36-26, hit-outs 43-35 and laying 15 more tackles. The difference was efficiency — North Fremantle's disposal efficiency, 44%, outstripped Melville's 37%, and their goal accuracy, 62%, dwarfed Melville's 20%. Jasmine Johansen, stepping in from East Fremantle in the WAFLW, was outstanding with 19 disposals, 7 tackles and 3 goal involvements, linking well with Tayla Bresland, who kicked 2 goals, while Casey Byrne added 8 tackles and 7 interceptions. Isabella Strnadica led Melville with 20 disposals and 6 inside 50s, but it wasn't enough. If Melville can sharpen up in front of goal and cut down turnovers, the quality shown against a top side suggests they can still cause upsets in their fight out of the bottom two.
Wembley were too strong across the ground for North Beach, winning 6.11 (47) to 4.1 (25), securing their spot in third. The Chickpies controlled territory throughout, finishing with 33 forward-50 entries to North Beach's 16 and dominating the air, 44 marks to 28. Parris Laurie was best on ground with 25 disposals, 20 hit-outs, 9 clearances, 5 marks and a goal, while Jorja Schell added 5 marks, 21 kicks and 5 inside 50s. North Beach fought hard for what they got, winning the tackle count 31-42 and showing potential in transition through quick handball chains. Shannon Bistrup, with 5 marks, and Hannah Young, with 15 disposals and 3 rebound 50s, were among their best, but Wembley's scoreboard pressure, especially once the floodgates opened in the second quarter, proved too much.
Curtin Uni Wesley was dominant in every facet, running out 35-point winners over Baldivis 7.8 (50) to 2.3 (15). Ruck Samantha Fieldler produced her best game of the season with 40 of the Tigers' 45 hit-outs — the equal second-highest individual tally in the competition this year. That dominance flowed through the ground, with Curtin Uni Wesley winning marks 27-15, recording 22 inside 50s to 13, and converting 68% of forward entries into scores compared to Baldivis's 38%. Larissa Versaci and Leanne Gubbins were instrumental through the midfield, while Elise Taylor led the way in front of goal with three majors. Ebony Thompson added two, and Danielle Suckling celebrated her first League goal as the Tigers gained some measure of revenge over the side that ended last year's premiership campaign in the preliminary final.
University made their opportunities count to overcome Quinns District 5.2 (32) to 2.1 (13), despite Quinns winning the disposals 219-191 and marks 45-25. University's clear advantage came at the source, winning hit-outs 45-10 thanks to Beige Harris, and limiting Quinns to not a single score from the stoppage while generating nearly half their own scores from it. Katelin Bertolami, with 30 disposals and 7 turnovers, and Michelle Smith, with 24 disposals and 10 marks, were outstanding for Quinns District but just short of the final touch going forward. Tarnica Stewart, with 28 disposals, 12 turnovers and 3 goal involvements, and Olivia Caldow, with 17 disposals and 7 intercept possessions, were crucial for University.
Trinity Aquinas produced the biggest margin of the season, running riot for a 16.5 (105) to 0.0 (0) demolition of Hamersley Carine that cements their spot at the top of the table. Vice-captain Jessica Schleicher led the goalkicking with eight, Mia Schleicher chimed in with five, and Abbey Waddell kicked two. The result is a significant boost to Trinity Aquinas's percentage — should ladder leaders Curtin Uni Wesley slip up, Trinity Aquinas would leapfrog them.

Round 12 is highlighted by a crucial clash between fourth-placed University and fifth-placed North Fremantle. Ladder leaders Curtin Uni Wesley aim to extend their unbeaten run against Hamersley Carine, while second-placed Trinity Aquinas faces Melville. The match of the round belonged to Whitford, who extended their unbeaten run after holding off a determined North Fremantle 8.12 (60) to 7.9 (51). A frantic opening half saw Whitford take a 16-point lead into the main break despite inaccurate kicking, booting 3.7 to North Fremantle's 1.3 — a buffer that proved crucial as the visitors mounted a strong second-half challenge. Baylee Payne was outstanding, throwing himself into every contest, while vice-captain Turner repelled North Fremantle attacks with a series of crucial intercept marks. For North Fremantle, Josh Branchi dominated the ruck and Kye Barker kept the contest alive with four goals.
Cockburn Lakes escaped with one of the narrowest wins of the season, edging Kalamunda by a solitary point, 10.8 (68) to 9.13 (67), in a contest that never opened up. Joshua Grant kicked five for Cockburn Lakes, Tyler Mouritz booted four for Kalamunda, and the one-point loss takes the Cougars two wins outside a finals spot despite proving they can compete with the best.
Bullcreek Leeming recorded its biggest win of the season, overwhelming Melville 20.12 (132) to 2.6 (18) — the highest margin of the 2026 B Grade season. The win carried extra significance with two milestone games: Jack Drennan marked his 150th with three majors, while fellow 150-gamer Zac Thomas also featured. Benjamin Mansell led the goalkicking with four as the scoring spread across the ground.
The surprise result came at Collegians, where the second-bottom side stunned finals hopeful Swan Athletic 13.6 (84) to 7.5 (47) — just Collegians' second win of the season, but one that could prove invaluable in the fight to avoid relegation. Returning forward Tom Smirk made an immediate impact in his first appearance since 2023, kicking five goals, while Gianni Kain added two. Debutants Benji Brockman and Jake Eyers also enjoyed memorable afternoons, Brockman finding the goal on league debut.
Brentwood Booragoon strengthened its grip on third place with a 12.11 (83) to 9.11 (65) win over West Coast. Parker Doncon finished with four goals, Jackson Edgar and Erick Bashemule kicked two apiece, and Adam Svilicich celebrated his 100th game in style as the Bulldogs maintained breathing room inside the top three.

Piara Waters celebrated NAIDOC Round in style, breaking through for a long-awaited first win of the season with an emphatic 8.16 (64) to 0.0 (0) win over Collegians. Although inaccurate at times, Piara Waters controlled the contest from the outset, rewarding weeks of persistence and lifting them off the bottom of the ladder.
Swan Athletic kept pace with the competition's leading teams, defeating Kelmscott 11.7 (73) to 4.2 (26). Aimee Hiscock led the way with three goals, Zoe Parker kicked the first two majors of her season, and leading goalkicker Hayley Barker and captain Miescha Antunovich also hit the scoreboard.
Rossmoyne overcame a tough, defensive first half before pulling away from Warnbro for a 6.9 (45) to 1.1 (7) win, exploding with four unanswered third-term goals after just a point separated the sides at quarter-time. Scarborough retained top spot despite an inaccurate afternoon in front of goal, defeating Bullcreek Leeming 3.10 (28) to 2.2 (14). Bullcreek Leeming's Jacinta Stevens added another to continue her remarkable season tally of 31, while vice-captain Brianna Berti, Libby Hubbard and Lola Moore all kicked majors for Scarborough.

Mosman Park produced the upset of the round, defeating Cockburn Cobras 18.6 (114) to 11.5 (71) to keep their survival hopes alive while denting the Cobras' finals aspirations, breaking the game open with a blistering third quarter after leading by 13 at half-time. Michael Millington kicked two for Forrestdale in his best game since returning to the league side in Round 8.
Upcoming Round
Hamersley Carine hosts Forrestdale knowing a win, combined with a Kwinana loss to Wembley, could see them move into the top four. Kwinana's clash with second-placed Wembley shapes as the match of the round, while Jandakot and Mosman Park meet in a vital survival battle. Unbeaten ladder leaders Wanneroo host Cockburn Cobras, and Thornlie travels to face Quinns District.
