B-E Grade Grand Finals- Saturday 8 September
Fri, September 7, 2018 - 9:51 AMThis Saturday 8 September, nineteen grades will contest Grand Finals across seven grounds in the metropolitan area. Twenty-three clubs have made their way into the B-E Grade Grand Finals with Ballajura (C1, C1R, E3, IDC) featuring in four Grand Finals followed by Jandakot (C4, C4R, LKC) and University (D1, D1R, BJC) who will contest in three different Grades. The Grand Finals this year will also see eight different clubs feature from the 2017 Grand Finals.

University & Cottesloe create history as first Women’s Premiers

Both teams were successful in their quest for glory when they played in the A and B Grade Grand Finals on Saturday 1 September at Lightning Park, Noranda.

Coolbinia win fourth straight Integrated Premiership
Wed, September 5, 2018 - 12:55 PMCoolbinia made history once again in the Integrated Competition winning their fourth straight Integrated Premiership on Saturday 1 September. The Grand Final held at Lightning Park, Noranda saw Coolbinia off to a fast start kicking the first three goals before High Wycombe fought their way back into the match kicking three of their own.

Ashman claims top honour at WAAFL Awards
Tue, September 4, 2018 - 9:04 AMOn Monday 3 September the Crown Ballroom was filled with over 900 guests to celebrate the 2018 WA Amateur Football League season. One of the biggest attendances in recent years saw many awarded for their outstanding seasons.

Integrated Grand Final- Sat 1 September
Wed, August 29, 2018 - 10:53 AMCoolbinia and High Wycombe will face off in the Integrated Football Competition season decider for the second year in a row. High Wycombe led the competition for majority of the season losing only two matches but were over taken for the minor premiership in the last round by Kingsway. Coolbinia on the other hand finished in fourth position with five losses but managed to defeat Kingsway in the Semi Final last week to secure their spot.

Women's Grand Finals - Sat 1 September
Wed, August 29, 2018 - 9:20 AMWest Coast and University will face off in the Women’s A Grade Grand Final this Saturday 1 September at Lightning Park, Noranda. West Coast finished second on the ladder at the end of the home and away season before defeating Curtin Uni Wesley in the Semi Final to advance straight through to the season decider.

Nine Club’s bow out of the Finals Series

Collegians (DBC), Coolbellup (C4), Forrestdale (E1), Kingsway (Integrated), Lynwood Ferndale (C2R), Melville (IDC), Mt Lawley (BR), Nollamara (WB) and Wanneroo (C2R, PSC) saw their only remaining teams lose in week two of the finals.

Finals Campaigns continue for 47 Clubs
Tue, August 21, 2018 - 11:08 AMQualifying and Elimination finals were held last Saturday for Men’s Grades B and below with twenty teams eliminated after the first week of finals. Mt Lawley lost the most teams in the first week with their B Grade and D1 Reserves sides unable to get the win in their Elimination Finals. The club still has their B Reserves side in the finals.

West Coast and Cottesloe through to Women’s Grand Finals
Mon, August 20, 2018 - 4:04 PMWest Coast are the first side through to the WAAFL Women’s A Grade Grand Final after defeating Curtin Uni Wesley in Semi Final 2 on Saturday night. The match played under lights at Lightning Park, Noranda saw West Coast claim a 5.5 (35) to 1.5 (11) victory. Heading into the match Curtin Uni Wesley were undefeated so far this season with their last match against West Coast ending in a draw.
