Manning Rippers
The Manning Rippers is a progressive football club looking to expand and continue in its competitiveness across all grades of the PFL.
The club invites applications for the position of senior coach for our Mens C4 - League team who can display the following attributes and qualities:
• A minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation is required with a view to obtaining Level 2
• A high level of organizational skills and positive attitude
• Provide strong leadership to the playing group that ensures a team first culture
• The desire to drive the club forward to higher grades in the PFL
• Be able to implement a strong game plan and training drills to ensure on field success
• Be able to add football intellect to a talented but very young league side
• The ability to communicate with players, committee, sponsors, members and supporters is essential
• Coaching at a senior level or having a sound football background is preferred.
The Manning Rippers Football Club was established in 1997 and our home ground is James Miller Oval in Manning. We are currently in Division C4 and are confident that an opportunity to progress to higher grades exists. We were the unbeaten C4 league leaders at the conclusion of the regular season and based on this there is a chance we may be offered a C3 position.
These coaching positions are paid positions and remuneration will be discussed in confidence and will be determined by the coaching experience or football background the applicant possesses.
The Rippers are a community club that encapsulates both seniors and juniors. We like to think of ourselves as the best country club in the metro area. We have a colts team that made finals in 2024 and a strong pathway from Year 10 to colts. We aim to field five senior sides in 2025 (including a women's team) and have a strong team of assistant coaches.
