The 2018 Skill Hire Finals Series begins this Saturday 18 August for Men's Grades B and below. Fifty-one clubs have made their way into finals so far with North Beach (D1, D1R, E2, BJC, WA) leading the way with five teams into finals already while Ballajura (C1, C1R, IDC, E3), Fremantle CBC (D1, D1R, E2, BJC), North Fremantle (B, BR, D1, DBC), Ocean Ridge (C2, C2R, E2, LKC) Swan Athletic (B, BR, E1, DBC), University (D1, D1R, BJC, WA) and Whitford (B, BR, DBC, BJC) all have four teams through so far.

Read More [+]Long-time West Coast Amateur Football Club member Dale Rakich will play his 400th game this Saturday 11 August at City Beach Oval. ‘Rakka’ as he is known around the club started his playing career for West Coast in the colts where he went on to represent the WAAFL in the State Colts program. In 1999 he won a Best and Fairest Award before joining the committee from 2000 - 2005 holding roles such as secretary and treasurer as well as being president from 2003 - 2005.

Justin’s association with the WAAFL began when he left school in 1975. He played a handful of games for Trinity Old Boys before study took over.

His senior football career commenced in 1996 when Kingsley were in the Sunday Hills comp and Robinson Reserve in Osborne Park was their Home ground. James (Laz) had been travelling around Australia, returning to Perth to work and sharing a house with some Kingsley players. He was invited down for a kick and is now still running around with his mates on the weekends.

David joined the Willetton Football Club in 2004 winning the Drew Banfield Colts premiership in his first season. Since then he has played over 220 games in the club’s league side.
