67 Players selected in initial intake for State Colts program

Congratulations to the below players selected for the initial intake of the 2018 West Coast Eagles State Amateur Colts Representative program.   Training for the 2018 WAAFL State Colts Program will take place on Wednesday nights. Our first session will be on Wednesday April 18th at Hamer Park in Mt Lawley and we request your attendance to represent your club on this night.

Integrated to play in Optus Stadium Curtain Raiser

On Sunday 8 April, 51 players from the WAAFL Integrated competition will be given the opportunity to play on Optus Stadium. The Curtain Raiser will take place before the West Coast Eagles v Geelong match in what has become an annual event for the program.

Sign up to the WAAFL Tipping Competition

The WA Amateur Football League has its own Tipping Competition!  The tipping competition features six Grades (A, B, C1, C2, C3 ,C4) with participants given the chance to tip in one or all of the grades. 

Two new clubs to join Integrated competition

North Beach and Willetton Football Club’s will both be fielding teams in the Integrated competition in 2018. The WAAFL Integrated Football Competition cates for players with intellectual disability with seven teams currently competing.

Healy appointed as WAAFL State Colts Coach

The West Coast Eagles State Colts Amateur Team will be led by head coach Stephen Healy in 2018. Healy capped off a successful season in 2017 by coaching the Wanneroo Drew Banfield Colts to premiership glory. He completed his Level 2 coaching accreditation and took out the West Perth Senior Coach of the Year award. In his short time as colt’s coach at Wanneroo AFC, Stephen has doubled the number of colt’s players at the club as well as producing eight league players.
