Safeguarding Children and Young People

The Perth Football League is committed to promoting the safety, health and well-being of all children, teens and young adults involved in our game and at our clubs. We work alongside WA Football to foster a culture where every participant feels respected, supported and safe, both on and off the field. Everyone involved in community football has the right to Be Safe, Feel Safe and Play Safe.

If you have any concerns related to safeguarding or the safety of children, young adults and teens within your club, please contact our Integrity team at integrity@perthfootball.com.au

True Sport Child Safeguarding Initiative

True Sport’s Child Safeguarding Initiative supports sporting organisations to understand and implement the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. The resources include a self-assessment tool, an action plan with sport-specific examples and a reporting flowchart, all designed to help clubs and associations review their current practices, strengthen their policies, and understand how to report any concerns or disclosures of harm.
