Bassendean's Shane Young reaches 300 games
Fri, September 13, 2019 - 1:47 PMThis Saturday 14 September Bassendean player Shane Young will play his 300th game in the C1 Grand Final at East Fremantle Oval. Shane commenced at Bassendean AFC in 2003 as a 16 year old colts player. He captained the Colts in 2005 in the B Grade Grand Final losing by two points. Shane won the League fairest and best in 2008 and is a recipient of the clubs Borg Memorial Trophy. He has played with all three of his brothers

One of the biggest attendances in recent years saw many awarded for their outstanding seasons.
