The West Australian State Government has announced today that interim COVID-19 restrictions will be in place starting 12.01am Tuesday 27 April until 12.01am Saturday 1 May. WA's lockdown will end at midnight tonight but interim restrictions will apply for the next four days. During this period, training can proceed with players and officials but no spectators. As per the West Australian State Government's announcement this afternoon, community sport is cancelled for this weekend. This means that all Perth Football League matches are cancelled for this weekend. Players are not permitted to train at their club. Clubs, as licensed and recreational venues, cannot open during these restrictions.
